What's New at YIM
[04/17/2008] The shul sends a weekly email message with links to various shiurim. Most are from the Torah Conferencing Network. These shiruim can be viewed or downloaded for free or for a nominal fee. Magidei Shiur include Rabbi Asher Weiss, Rabbi Zecharia Wallerstein, Shira Smiles and many others.

  • Sunday - 7:30AM to 8:30AM with Rabbi Dubin and 8:30AM to 9:15AM with Rabbi Ephraim Perlowitz
  • Monday thru Friday - 6:30AM to 7:30AM with Rabbi Dubin and 7:30AM to 8:15AM with Rabbi Ephraim Perlowitz
  • Shabbos - 7:40AM to 8:30AM

[10/28/2003] The Young Israel of Midwood is pleased to announce the formation of the Aron & Ritchel Free Loan Fund. This fund will make interest free loans to members of the Young Israel, as well as anyone in the community in need. Click here for more information..

[5/12/2003] We have a tape lending library available to all shul members. Tapes may be borrowed for free. If you have any tapes you'd like to donate, please contact David Stern or Danny Berg.    Here's a list of tapes that are available [PDF file].
[5/16/2002] The Torah Tape Library listing has been revised. Get the new listing here.
All tapes cost $2.50, except titles marked with an asterisk (*), which are $3.50. Each time you return a tape you will receive $1.00 credit towards purchase of another tape.

[9/24/2001] The shul is trying to expand the seforim library in the Bais Medrash. Look at the list of seforim we want to add. You can dedicate seforim for as little as $10 each!
